David Guetta's sixth No. 1 is a Top 100 record — and Hong Kong's two clubs both climbed
David Guetta took a sixth Top 100 DJs title at [UNVRS] in Ibiza on 6 October, becoming the first artist to reach six, fifteen years after his first. Martin Garrix finished second, Anyma third. The same poll's club list put Hong Kong's Boomerang at 32 and Space Club at 69, both climbing.

What happened on 6 October
DJ Mag revealed its Top 100 DJs 2026 on Tuesday 6 October 2026, live from [UNVRS] in Ibiza — the second year running the awards were held there. Lost Frequencies, Charlotte de Witte, GORDO, Vintage Culture, ANASTAZJA and Korolova played. Alongside the main list the night named the world's No. 1 Trance, Hard, Techno and House DJs and the No. 1 DJ Group, plus Highest New Entry, Highest Climber, Future Star and Outstanding Contribution.
The headline is a record. David Guetta took a sixth Top 100 DJs title — the first artist ever to reach six, fifteen years after his first win in 2011. Martin Garrix and Armin van Buuren are both on five. The full list is DJ Mag's own poll and their product, so we link it rather than reprint it.
The venue is already the story
[UNVRS] is not just the host. On the same organisation's Top 100 Clubs 2026 list, published in April, it entered straight at No. 1 — the first club to go straight to the top since the poll began in 2006. It is The Night League's conversion of the old Ku Club and Privilege site into a 10,000-capacity room. So on 6 October the world's No. 1 DJ gets named inside the world's No. 1 club, which has happened before but not with a venue this new.
Hong Kong is on that club list, and both entries went up
This is the part worth holding on to while everyone watches Ibiza. Two Hong Kong clubs made Top 100 Clubs 2026, and neither stood still: Boomerang at 32, up eight places, capacity 650, in the middle of Lan Kwai Fong — its fifth consecutive year on the list — and Space Club at 69, up twenty-three, also in Lan Kwai Fong, on a Funktion-One system. Two clubs a few minutes' walk apart, both climbing in the same year.
A club poll measures who turned out to vote as much as who turned out to dance. But a twenty-three-place climb is not noise, and it happened on a street you can walk down tonight.
The results
The results landed on 6 October. What follows is what we could verify against reporting of the published list; the full 1–100 ranking lives on DJ Mag's own page and is worth reading there.
Who won
David Guetta, for the sixth time — 2011, then 2020, 2021, 2023, 2025 and now 2026. No other artist has six. He held off Martin Garrix for a second consecutive year, and Garrix stays on five alongside Armin van Buuren. Anyma completed the podium at No. 3, up seven places from No. 10.
Who moved
Anyma climbed seven to No. 3. Alok is No. 4, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike No. 5, Charlotte de Witte No. 6. The sharpest move we could verify is John Summit, from 46 to 24 — twenty-two places — with Fred again… up seventeen from 33 to 16. Josh Baker is a new entry at 40, Padre Guilherme a new entry at 79, and Illenium re-entered at 30.
Where Asian DJs placed
Honestly: not where a Hong Kong reader would want them. The two Asian names we can place are both on the extended list rather than the hundred — Zhangye at 104 and Alan Shirahama at 107. That gap is the whole reason Mandos Mag exists on the local side: a poll driven by global voting volume will keep under-reading Asia, and listing the DJs who actually play here is a different job from ranking them.
Which of them you can actually see here this season
A ranking is only interesting locally if the names on it come through. Confirmed and dated so far: Above & Beyond return to Hong Kong in November 2026; Verknipt ran at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal on 2 October; and Mall Grab, Skin On Skin, Effy and Osmosis Jones play on Sunday 29 November. None of these names sits in the published top ten, which is the ordinary case for this city: Hong Kong gets the touring circuit rather than the podium.
Why we report the poll instead of running our own
Mandos Mag covers the global lists and does not publish a ranking of Hong Kong venues or Hong Kong DJs. Partly because DJ Mag's poll is their work and copying it would make this a knock-off. Mostly because ranking the people we book, and who book each other, would manufacture a conflict that helps nobody. Local DJs get listed, never placed.
